The aim of the update to CNCPS, now referred to as version 6.56, is to better predict bacterial growth in the rumen by adjusting the isoacid supply, which is considered a nutrient requirement for a portion of the microbial population in the rumen, mainly fibrolytic bacteria.
The RUM&N group has fully implemented the update to the CNCPS 6.55 model, and the NDS platform is now equipped with version 6.56.
