In the belief that it is possible to improve the synchrony of ruminant diets, either by changing dietary ingredients or by altering the feeding frequency or the feeding patterns, the RUM&N Team developed a new feature for evaluating the balance and synchronization of the supply of Nitrogen and Energy-producing substrates (CHO) to rumen microbes. This feature should represent a valid decision-making tool if associated with the CNCPS fractionation and prediction system.
