In order to get the installation of NDS Professional on a new computer, please proceed as follows:
- Through RUM&N Web page - www.rumen.it - download the setup file for NDS Professional. Please note that to access the download page you need to register your Username and Password (if you have not done it previously);
- Run the executable Setup file and follow the on-screen instructions. NDS Professional will work better on computers running Windows 7 and must have Microsoft .NET Framework (at least the version 3.5). The program will run very effectively on previous versions of MS Windows but you must have the .Net Framework v3.5. If you experience issues with installation on Windows 7, right click on the install icon and click Install as Administrator.
The procedure described above always installs a full trial version with 30 days of expiration.
Within this period, in order to get the copy as officially licensed, you must follow the registration procedure (see tutorial NDS Registration).
If you already are NDS users and you have transferred the platform from one old computer to a new one, probably you will need to transfer your database (feeds, recipes, composites, etc.) on the new installation without losing valuable information contained therein.
