For safety reasons, you may want to protect your copy of NDS by assigning a password on entry.
To get this you have to open the Settings screen
then click the Users/Password command.
At the top of the
Login and Policy Editor tab there is a
checkbox called Entry with password. If you tick this checkbox, a
password entry box will be shown with a default password in it (rumen).
Now you can enter your own password, replacing the default one. A confirmation is required so you have to enter the same password in the Confirm password box. After the double entry of your password you can save it through the Save password button.
In case the confirmation password does not match with that entered previously, a warning message informs you that you have to re-enter the confirmation password.
If the two passwords typed match, then it will be saved.
In this way, to open NDS, you will need to Log In with the assigned password.
In order to remove the password on entry you previously assigned, you can easily uncheck the Entry with password checkbox in the Login and Policy Editor tab. Your NDS will open without any to Log In
Warning: for privacy reasons, NDS support team has no way of knowing your password, so, if you forgot the password, please contact RUM&N at info@rumen.it in order to schedule a Quick Support session during which your password will be reset.
Through this procedure, your copy of NDS will be unlocked and you will be able to assign a new password on entry.
