The Linear optimization process returns the least-cost ration that is within the Mins and Maxes of By Feeds and By Nutrient analysis constraints.
In this section you can:
− set mins and maxes on feeds
− set mins and maxes on nutrients analysis
− set mins and maxes on DMI
− add or change feeds costs
− add or remove feeds
− add or remove nutrients
− input feeds constraints in term of Dry Matter or As Fed basis
− select some alternatives solutions (i.e. Maximize forage)
The button Optimize allows you to run the calculations having as result the least cost recipe.
