Importing user lists data

To import a Nut file (analysis) select the Feeds analysis command in the Import group (in the Import/Export Tab); to import a Cst file select the Feeds costs command in the Import group.

During the first import of a Cst or Nut file, if the Import as user list box has been ticked, the user list, with the same name and the same feeds of the original one, is created in the target database. If an ingredient code has been assigned to each feed in the user list in the source database, it is strongly recommended to check the Import by ingredient code option, to grant the correct identification of the feeds (please note that with this option, feeds without an ingredient code are not imported). If the feeds do not have an ingredient code, the import by system code (and not by ingredient code) is mandatory; a system code is automatically assigned to each feed by the system, but in different databases the same feed can have different system codes. During an import by system code the data of the feed can be updated with those of the corresponding feed in the export file only if their system codes match, otherwise after the import there will be two instances of the same feed with different data.

Further imports of a Nut file will update the analysis data of the feeds in the user list, while in the case of a Cst file the costs of the feeds in the user list will be updated (in both cases the Import as user list box must be checked); since a Cst file stores all feeds data (analysis and costs), during its import any feed in the file that has not been previously imported will be added to the target database with its analysis values and costs.
