Derivatives vs Master feed comparison

 

If a master feed has more derivatives, it is possible to compare their specs after opening the master.

 



Click on the Derivative specs tab over the analysis list; as a result, the analysis section expands and shows in different columns the values of the master and its derivative feeds.

 

 

Notice that different values can originate by manually changing an input nutrient value in the derivate or because they are the result of a calculus with different input values. For example, a change of the crude protein value will affect other values like soluble protein; for this reason, when a master feed is saved, the analytical values of its derivative feeds are always recalculated and updated.  Notice that those values that do not change in the derivative feeds are shown only in the first three columns related to the master. In other words, when the cells in the derivative columns are empty, the feed will automatically receive the corresponding values taken from the master.

Another option is to display only those values that are different when compared to those of the master; click on the button to hide those values that do not change in the derivative feeds:
