This function allows you to insert a password in the main or secondary database. Password will make a database readable during its transfer from one user to the other or from a computer to the other (same user). This because each database is of exclusive use of the proprietor and it has to be the proprietor who allows other users to read his/her archives.
Protection password for the database is very useful in case you substitute your computer.
Main Database
Insert same password in the text boxes (“Password” and “Confirm Password”), then Save Password.
Secondary Database
Select the database you intend to protect (only proprietor databases) and click on the Password icon. Once the yellow box appears on the right, insert password in both text boxes and save. Protection icon will have a padlock with a green dot icon (see second path in the list).
