As described below, there are two main ways to add a feed to a ration.
Once the feeds are added, the user can customize the order of the feeds by right-clicking on the heading of the as-fed or DM amount columns. The list can be reordered according to the amounts, or on a logical basis (forages, principle concentrates, secondary concentrates, additives, min/vit.)
Additionally, the user can drag and drop feeds to their preferred order.
The user can easily access the details of the feeds by clicking the magnifying lens to the right of the feed name. The feed window will appear.
From this window, the user can adjust the feed details, and update based on availability of analysis. Composition, availability, and digestibility figures can all be adjusted from this window. Additionally, the user can use the Quick Data Entry tab to update the analysis. (see tutorial on the use of Quick Data Entry Card.)
